2020 Divemaster Course $1699

Course Description

The PADI Divemaster course is your fist level of professional training. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills and refine your rescue skills so you can anticipate and easily solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.

The Atlantic PRO Divers Divemaster course is a minimum of three weeks, schedule depending. As a Divemaster Candidate (DMC) you will assist with student divers in the pool and in open water, complete workshops, perfect your skill demonstration, map a dive site, and get comfortable with dive briefings. We also include your Emergency First Response Instructor course, allowing you to begin teaching CPR/First Aid. Whether you want to work at a remote dive resort or close to home at your local dive shop, the adventure of a lifetime awaits you!


  • 18 years old
  • PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
  • CPR/First Aid training within 24 months
  • 40 logged dives

Course Requirements

  • Complete home study via PADI eLearning
  • Pass two Divemaster final exams
  • Create an Emergency Assistance Plan for a designated site (can be the one created in your PADI Rescue Diver course!)
  • Complete five water-skills exercise, scoring at least a cumulative 15.
  • Complete a diver rescue assessment
  • Complete the dive skills workshop and assessment
  • Complete practical application skills
  • Complete Divemaster conducted programs workshops
  • Complete practical assessments
  • Meet the professionalism criteria
  • Signed medical statement within 12 months
  • 60 logged dives
  • Read and agreed to the PADI Membership and License Agreements

The APD Divemaster course is a 6 session class during which qualified Rescue Divers learn the knowledge and skills necessary to make the transition from a recreational diver to the first professional membership level.

Once you purchase your Padi Dive Master class we will e-mail you an e-code to begin your online study. Complete the online study items and pick a weekend to start training! Training takes a few weekends to get you up to par both on the boat and with students.
Only PADI Divemasters are qualified to participate or assist in PADI classes.

Must be in good health and certified as a PADI Rescue Diver with current CPR/First Aid.

Required Equipment: A Divemaster Candidate (DMC) is considered a dive professional, and it is expected that you have your own gear. You are the role model, so please be sure your gear is within its service date and fully functional. DMCs will receive a discount on all gear if purchased with APD.
